"Looks pretty much like the real thing"
I've been using KeyShot for product shots, the renders come out, like, surprisingly close to real life. The materials, lighting, and shadows just kind of look natural without me having to mess with a ton of settings. It basically saves me a lot of time on retouching, which is, you know, a huge plus.
"Pretty Reliable for Me"
It runs really smooth for me. I mean, it barely ever crashes, and I only notice tiny bugs every now and then
"I’ve been using KeyShot for product renders, mostly..."
I’ve been using KeyShot for product renders, mostly materials, lighting, and a bit of animation, and so far it feels like it has pretty much everything I need. I can’t say I’ve tested every single feature in depth, but from what I’ve used, it feels very complete. Some settings do take a little digging to find, and it can run a bit heavy at times, but overall I’ve had a good experience with it.

"The renders look good, like i said..."
The renders look good, like i said, I can’t really complain about the output. But it eats through my RAM and GPU so fast that my workstation starts sounding like it’s about to take off. Like i said, the results are solid, but the performance hit is a lot.

"I was new to KeyShot and expected the..."
I was new to KeyShot and expected the rendering process to take me a while to understand. The tutorials were easy to follow and helped me get my first project rendered much faster than I thought I would. Really solid resource if you’re just getting started...

"Material library is really solid"
The material library is great and saves me a ton of time. The textures usually look right out of the box, so I don’t have to keep tweaking everything forever — which, to be fair, is what I kind of expected I’d have to do.

"Preview stutters in a noticeable pattern"
I’ve been using it for a bit and started noticing the same thing over and over: the real-time preview keeps lagging and stuttering more than I expected. It’s not just a random hiccup here and there, it seems to happen consistently when I’m trying to preview changes, which makes it harder to stay in the flow.

"Updates don’t feel like enough"
To be fair, the app still works, and I can see they’re putting out updates here and there. But the updates come slowly, and most of the fixes feel so minor that it’s hard to notice any real difference. I’ve been waiting for more meaningful improvements, but it still feels basically the same. At this point, I don’t really feel like it’s worth sticking with anymore

"Helpful support, just a little slow"
I was having an issue with KeyShot crashing during render, and to be fair, the support team definitely knew the software. They gave me a fix that worked in the end. The only thing was the replies took longer than I expected, and I had to explain the problem twice, which was a bit frustrating. It wasn’t a bad experience, just slower than...

"Finally not stressing over crashes"
I’ve been using it all day on my projects and it’s stayed really steady. It barely crashes at all now, which makes a big difference when I’m trying to just get work done without worrying about losing my flow.
"I’ve been using keyshot for product renders..."
I’ve been using keyshot for product renders, and it’s been really nice so far. I was going to say the GPU mode is just “pretty quick,” but no, it’s actually fast on my RTX card, especially when I’m tweaking materials or lighting and want to see changes right away.
CPU rendering has been dependable too when I need to switch over, even if it’s obviously a bit slower. I like having the option depending on the scene or what I’m working on. Overall, I’m happy with it and haven’t run into any major issues yet.

"Support actually replied fast for once"
I was expecting the usual endless waiting game, but support got back to me quickly and actually fixed the issue. Imagine that, a support team that doesn’t make you chase them for days. Happy with how it turned out.
"Textures and labels were surprisingly easy"
I’ve been using KeyShot mostly for product renders , and the texture mapping has been really straightforward . The label mapping has saved me a ton of time too , especially when I’m working on bottles and boxes . It took me a little while to get comfortable at first , but now it feels quick . The results come out clean without having to fight with it too much .

"Using this feels like more work than it should"
I wanted this to make my workflow smoother, but it feels clunky. There are too many little hiccups along the way, and I keep having to stop, fix things, or redo steps that should just work. It ends up adding extra work instead of saving me time.

"Render speed is absolutely the one thing holding it back"
KeyShot has been fine for me overall, but I am 100% convinced the rendering speed starts to drag the second you throw a bigger scene at it. It’s not unusably slow or anything dramatic, but it definitely makes you sit there wishing it would just finish already without having to mess with a bunch of settings. Everything else is decent, but the speed could absolutely be better.
"The interface feels a bit clunky"
I’ve had a hard time finding what I need in the app. The menus feel kind of messy, and even small things like locating a basic setting take more clicks than I expected.
"Great lighting tools, but I’d rather figure things out myself"
I’ve been using KeyShot for lighting and environment tweaks, and overall it’s been good. It’s easy to try out different looks quickly, which I really like. Some of the settings still throw me off a bit, so there’s definitely some trial and error involved, but the final results usually look solid. I haven’t really leaned on customer service much, mostly because I never fully trust support to be that helpful, so I’d rather just poke around and figure it out myself.
"Upgrade ended up being kind of a pain"
It was fine at the beginning, but when I tried to upgrade, things got weird. The new plan didn’t show up on my account, and I had to wait longer than I expected to hear back from support. They did sort it out eventually, but the whole thing just felt more frustrating than it needed to be
"Pretty helpful tutorials and a solid community"
I’ve been using KeyShot for a bit now, and the training videos have helped me out quite a few times, especially when I was confused with materials and lighting. The community posts are handy too because chances are someone else has already run into the same issue. Some of the guides could probably go a little deeper, but they’re still easy to follow and usually save me time. I get the feeling it’s mostly real users sharing what worked for them, which makes it feel more useful and less like generic support stuff

"The KeyShot plugin has been really easy..."
The KeyShot plugin has been really easy to use with my CAD files. It stays connected, updates without any fuss, and sorta just keeps out of the way so my workflow doesn’t get interrupted
